Hello, my name is Sam Christianson. I’m from Fargo, North Dakota in the USA. I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and I am TESOL certified. During university, I also spent one semester abroad at Humboldt University in Berlin. I have been living in Prague for four years now and this is my first year teaching at Dino Schools of Prague. Prior to that, I was working part time for a language school and elementary school academy as well as teaching private lessons on the side. This year at Dino Schools of Prague I’m teaching third, fourth, and fifth grade English. Additionally, I teach fourth and fifth grade Science as well as fifth grade Math. Before I moved to the Czech Republic, I spent one year teaching English in China. I taught English to university students as well as middle-schoolers. This experience inspired me to continue teaching English and traveling the world! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, exercising, reading, skiing, and playing guitar. At the weekends I enjoy visiting new places in the Czech Republic with my friends. I’m very happy to be at Dino Schools of Prague this year and look forward to continuing to help the students improve their English and learn more about the world around them!
